We have been using tivoli manager for R/3 and are now upgrading to Netweaver, and wish to run maestro based jobs in the same way that we have been accustomed to on R/3. I have tried transporting the tivoli agent on to the netweaver platform but it fails with the following error

The job dumps on the SAP instance and comes back with
ShrtText
Syntax error in program "SAPLJ1O1 ".
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPMSSY1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
In program "SAPLJ1O1 ", the following syntax error occurred
in the Include "SAPLJ1O1 " in line 0:
"The program "SAPLJ1O1" is not Unicode-compatible, according to its pro"
"gram attributes."
" "
" "
Author and last person to change the Include are:
Author "SZARD "
Last changed by "SZARD "
Can anyone help?
Where can I get a unicode version of the program saplj101?
thanks in advance
Graham
Hi Guys,
iam actually new to the concept of Tivoli.
surely, not providing any answer to your question , but want a help.
We are using Tivoli manager v 2.2 for R3 4.X systems for CCMS monitoring.
Can anyone provide me with any details of installation and configuration of alerts in Tivoli as well as what all alerts can be configured other than that present in R3.
Any help would be really greatful.
regards,
Mayank Garg

Graham,
this version of IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler for Applications is out of maintenance. We can not provide transports for r3batch 4.x. You should think about upgrading to 8.2.1 or better 8.3. Those versions are BC-XBP 6.1(V2.0) and 8.3 is additionally BW-SCH 3.0 certified by SAP, so certified for SAP Netweaver with all it's benefits. Please contact IBM to provide you more information about Tivoli Workload Scheduler for Applications.
Kind regards
Ralf

Hi Graham,
Sorry, I don't have an answer but since we are encountering the exact same issue, I was wondering whether you ever found an answer to this?
Thanks,
Guenther
