Principal Propagation

Hi Friends,

I am working on Principal Propagation Concept .According to this concept,we can pass the same user context in end to end scenario.

I have done all the configurations for SAP Assertion Ticket and activated the Principal Propagation.

Then i have configured the RFC to RFC Scenario.It is working fine also.

But my question is how to verify that same user context is passed everywhere in all components. By all components i mean from R3 to Adapter Engine -->Integration Engine -->Adaptetr engine and then back to R3.

If any one has implemented this concept before.

Please reply.

Hi,

Prerequisites

You can only activate the configuration if you have kernel patch 149 installed.

Procedure

...

1. In the Integration Engine menu, choose Configuration ® Configure Principal Propagation.

2. Activate principal propagation. A corresponding message is displayed.

Result

The necessary technical prerequisites for principal propagation within the XI runtime are fulfilled when you activate the function:

● System user XIPPUSER is created with the role of the service user XIAPPLUSER.

● The RFC destination SAPXIPP is created and the user XIPPUSER is saved as the logon user in the destination.

● An activation indicator is set.

Hi Vishal,

i have already done this configuration.Now my question is :

How to verify that same user context is passed in all the components like Sender, AE, IS , AE, Receiver?
