URL and how to activate cProjects/cFolders

Hello All,

On my ecc 6 the add on CPRXRPM with level 0 (SAP xRPM/cProjects/cFolders 4.00 (ABAP) ) is there.

What is the URL for cProjects/cFolders ? how can we set up cProjects and cFolders ?. what all things should be activated for this.

Hi,

i have a problem with URLs to cFolders Objects sent directly from Collaboration, Map, or Object. The URL does not contain the sap-client ID. What has to be done to do this automatically?

Use SICF and activate the services for cprojects and cFolders.

cprojects:cprojects

cfolders:cfx_rfc_ui

Path for these services is SAP->BC->BSP->SAP

Test the services and this should open the cPorjects/cFolders URL. Save your URL's.

Refer the configuration documents for more details.

Can you please help me how to solve this ?. Also I got a configuration guide called H40: Configuration Collaboration with cFolders . is this the one you are asking for configuration?

Hi Sahad,

Please ensure that your URL contains the server address in a proper manner. You would need to provide a Fully Qualified Domain Name ( FQDN) in the URL.

For e.g if the server's full name is sapserver.xyz.local and your URL contains only sapserver, you'll get this error.

The correct URL to the application would be http:// sapserver.xyz.local:<<port>>/../... \

i.e it should contain the full name of the application server.

I hope that I am clear.

Also check the authorisations.....add cProjects/cFolders roles to your user ID

I tried

http://hostname:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/cprojects?sap-client=200

http://hostname:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/cfx_rfc_ui?sap-client=200

Both showed the error. It seems like it is not configured yet. the add on is now CPRXRPM release 4 with level 0 . Is it enough for configuration or do need to upgrade the level ?. also what are the other steps to check the configuration?

Hi Sahad,

The URLs that I see do not have the complete domain names.

Please confirm with the basis team and find out the full hostnames (e.g hostname.domain.local)

Try appending the complete name in these URLs itself manually. It should work.

I checked in smicm -> services and in that hostname is specified as "server5" with no domain name attached to it

when I clicked on test service on sicf the link that came in browser is

http://server5:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/cprojects?sap-client=200

also I have added the servers ip address to the host file of my desktop.

Do you still think I need to add any domain ?.

thanks for the help.

you were correct. the hostname+domain name should be there.

since hostname+domain name was not in the host file of the server, it was not working. I didnt think about that option.
