HTTP 500 error

experts,

We have an R3 (ABAP proxy) to BW scenario(XI Adapter).

Normally the interfaces work ok. But, frequently we encounter the following error..

<SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />

<SAP:Stack>HTTP response contains status code 500 with the description Internal Server Error Error while sending by HTTP (error code: 500, error text: Internal Server Error)</SAP:Stack>

<SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>

</SAP:Error>

I understand that the BW WAS is encountering some issues and hence returning this error.

What should I look into BW? Any other suggestions?

check SOAP adapter is working.

check the outgoing SOAP Message; check the namespaces and the data elements are correct.

+ THIS IS PROBABLY B'COZ OF THE SOAP MESSAGE TO ABAP PROXY IS NOT CORRECT+

HTTP 500 error...........?

kindly look into SAP Notes – 804124, 807000

this may solve ur problem......!

after refering again if u get an error kindly restart the XI -Server ..........and then let me know .......!
