Hi German,

Just Check in the command propt

Go to START->RUN-><Type CMD>

Here You will get the command window Type PING 10.24.1.10 Then enter after that if You will get a Reply message we need to go other way to solve the problem.

If you are not getting any reply/Request Timed out message, Add a Particuler IP Address to the Router.

Pls Let me know the status.

I solved the issue

solution

create the follow 3 files on /Users/your user/Library/Preferences/SAP/

1. Config.ini

with this info

@MESSAGESERVER = /Users/your user/Library/Preferences/SAP/msg.ini

@ROUTER = /Users/your user/Library/Preferences/SAP/rout.ini

2. msg.ini

with this info

SM : /H/your ip server address or name server/S/3601

ECC : /H/your ip server address or name server/S/3601

200 : /H/your ip server address or name server/S/3601

BW : /H/your ip server address or name server/S/3601

note: the sm, ecc, 200 or BW are free names you can change and create the number of system that you need.

3. rout.ini

with this info

Partners : /H/your ip server address or name server/S/3601/H/

note in most of the cases you can leave this file empty

enjoy the sapgui java on mac

Another solution for this problem. I am also using a Mac (OSX Lion).

1) Create a new connection in SAPGUI for Java 7.20 rev 7

2) Type a description and go to the Advanced-tab

3) Enable the Expert Mode

4) Type: conn=/H/YourServer/S/3200

5) Click on Connect and have fun!

You can follow this steps by a direct connection with the server (e.g. IDES) or with the virtual machine (e.g. VMware).

I'd correct the 4th step as

4) Type: conn=/H/YourServer/S/32xx

where xx stands for the system number. In most cases it is 00.
