How to perform validation on button

Hi Experts,

I need to perform some validation on button, like i am having one form in which i have a table and 3 buttons, on selecting one row from the table and click button it goes to corresponding forms.Now if i click on the button with out selecting any row from the table it should show some error with out going to corresponding forms. If any one knows please help me out.

Try using the guard condition to validate the data.
