Visual Composer and MSXML Parser

Hi!

I've tried to install Visual Composer on my portal image 6.40.

The installation ran smoothly and I also installed patch 6. I've followed the 804496 note for installing VC on Windows 2003.

But I cannot open a VC Client: When I try, all I get is a "This product requires MSXML Parser v4.0.". I've installed this (MSXML SP2) on the client and I installed the Adobe SVG.

Also, I'm able to connect to another VC server with the same client machine without these errors.

Could it be a security setting in my Internet Explorer? I've tried adding my image to the "Trusted Sites" but it doesn't help.

Dear all ,

While installing i am getting this error

<b>the visual composer requires sql 2000 server indicate an appropriate server</b>

and in the log file I am getting this error

DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

[DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen (Connect()).

Previously I installed

1,win server 2000 with sp3

2,sql server 2000 with sp3

3,ie6

4,I installed IIS service also .

Try installing the xml parser and svg viewer on the VC server as well

No, that doesn't make any difference. Already tried that - should have mentioned it.

can you try to entrer from the Server Browser ?

could you enter from other machine ?

I've tried both (from server and from another machine). Both returns the same error as described in my original post.
