I am trying to delete a namespace that I created but when I try I get a message saying that I am "currently editing the name space". Does anyone know how to release the editing lock on the object?
Thanks
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
You can release the lock by,
1.Goto SXMB_IFR
2.In the Navigation area, Click on Administration.(it will be on the top right side)
3.Enter the userid and password
4.Then you can see the Administration page.
5.On the left side, you can see "Administration of Locks and Caches".
6. Under that click on Lock Overview.
7.There you can can see list of user id's. Select your user id and click on Remove Selected Locks
8. Now you can edit your namespace.

Hi ,
Make sure that no object in that namespace is opened in EDIT mode, when you are removing the namespace.
Also, delete all the objects in the namespace before removing it from the list.

Sushil.
P.S: Deleting a namespace is , removing it from the list of namespaces in the SWCV.

Hi Patrick Dixon,
To release the editing lock on the object, go to XI home page, SXMB_IFR.
Select Administration,Login In. On the left side you have Lock Overview Link, select it and see if any objects have been locked. If so delete the locks so that you can access the objects.
