Customizing SRM page

Hi,

I am new to SRM. can someone tell me. How to modify a screen. Assume that I want to show On each page(web) logged in user. And later implement it on the server. Basically I am looking for steps for customizing the SRM pages either web change or SRM screen change.

Hi,

You can do changes in the SRM screen in 3 ways:

1.Look out if any BADI is available for the reqd screen changes

2.Screen variants.

3.If none of the above,then you may go for the ITS template changes.

But majorly depends on what type of screen changes you want to do.E.g As you said,you want to display the User name (user who has logged in)on each screen then you need to modify the ITS templates(No BADI available and cannot use screen variants).
