Field in sm30 is missing, but if I click display shows in sec. screen.

Hi, Sap gurus,

I have table with 8 fields, but one of the field doesnot shows up when I try to use table maintainance that is sm30, exp_dt field does not shows, any one suggest me where I am going wrong here.

Hi, I resolved this by making key for this filed in se11 and then it started showing up in sm30, I am not sure this is the right way to do.

may be the field is the last field, and you forgot to scroll sideways to see that. Otherwise there can be no reason that it is seen in se16 and not in SM30

Go to SE11 select radio button view. A list of all the fields of view will appear. Check whether exp_dt field is in the list or not. If not change the view go to table fields and add that field. After that make sure to delete the old view and generate the new one.
