Fail in phase 'STARTING J2EE ENGINE' while apply SP12

Hi,

I encounter below problem while apply SP12 into WAS JAVA 640 on my XI 3.0 server. But WAS 640 ABAP and JAVA can be manually started. What should i checked next ?

If you are running the WAS on windows, go to SAP Console and see whether IGS instance is running for ABAP Stack. Usually, this is stopped during the patch to upgrade IGS.

If it is not windows, just stop the whole WAS and restart it.

You better stop the whole SAP Instance and restart it.

DO NOT CLOSE YOUR PATCH INSTALL WINDOW.

When the ABAP stack is up and running (along with IGS Instance) then click on <b>Retry</b>, then you will be fine.

Thanks a lot.

In the patch apply, i once faced igswd.exe fail to start problem - it was due to profile problem (line size more than 80 column), and had been solved according to SAP note.

I once closed patch install window when i solved igswd.exe problem. Now, it always fails when i retry instll.

I don't know what next step i can do?
