Prerequisite for SAP MDM

Hi,

I am working as a SAP Technical consultant for the past 4 years.

I am interested to learn SAP MDM.

Can you please give me an idea about the prerequisite

for SAP MDM

What are the prerequisites for SAP MDM.

I have read from the sap netweaver for dummies book that

MDM mostly relies on SAP BW & SAP XI i.e. do we need to have knowledge on BW & XI?.

I will be very thankful to you if u pepople can provide some guidance in this regard.

Rajagopal,

You don't have to necessarily know BW / XI if you want to become a MDM consultant. Please look at the documentation.

You can take a functional role.
