Scheduling margin key - Float before production

Hello all,

We are implementing 5.0 PP/DS. We are using PDS master data.

In APO there is no scheduling margin key parameter. Is there a standard way that we can run the same process as it is done with scheduling margin key in R/3? Basically, we want to use float before and after production.

Hi Ergul,

there is no standard way for float before and after in SCM.

You can either add 'dummy acitivties' to the routings / receipes in R/3 or use

the PDS / PPM inbound user-exit to add those dummy activities in SCM-APO.
