Hi All,

I get the following error in NWA->MI->Device maintenance.

I am able to sync the Client sucessfully for the first time when I install the client unless the appllication is unassigned to the user. The moment I assign the application to the user, I get the following error.

Error while creating MIAUTH sync bo (no SyncBoDescriptor for MIAUTH available); contact SAP support.

When I click the Expert tool button I get the following Error.

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://..net:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

The termination occurred in system EDM with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:EDM00-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden

HTTP 403 - Forbidden

Because of this I am not able to sync successfully.

Can anyone help me to solve that.

thanks & regards,

Kapoorchand.

Hi,

well, where do you get this error? Usually you can ignore MIAUTH completely. So why is it included in your APP - remove it from your MEREPMETA.XML file, because you do not need it - as I said - and then you should be able to sync again.

If it is not in there - have you done any futher setup for that BO? Check this setup again, I guess the user/password in there is wrong.

Hi Oliver,

I get aforesaid error under Administrator->MI->Device maintenance->Error->expert tool.

Secondly, my application is generic sync type so there is no merepmeta.xml.

Now, when I sync after assigning the application to the user, I get the following user in client.

Synchronization started

Connection set up (without proxy) to: http://135.189.129.10:8000/sap/bc/MJC/mi_host?~sysid=ECM&;

• Successfully connected with server.

• Processing of inbound data began.

• Problems during synchronization: Contact your administrator

when I run merep_mon transaction miauth object is in waiting status.

now when i refered to [this|; link as it says when I executed the merep_mig transaction I get a dump stating

During Import the system discovered that the target object has a different length than the object to be imported.

What could be the possible cause and solution for this.

thanks n regards,

Kapoorchand.
