Hello everyone,
Normally, we can retrieve all the languages (before we execute a command, we call command.setRegionalLayer([RegionalLayer.ALL|http://help.sap.com/javadocs/MDM/current/com/sap/mdm/data/RegionalLayer.html#ALL])), but we can't for multivalued-lookup fields.
First I find a record in 'TextBlock' table, then I get its value. The result is MultilingualString (sorry, I forgot) MultiregionValue , but unfortunately, it has only value for DE language.
How can we get in this case the other languages?
Here is the detail of the database:
'Product' table has many fields, one of them is 'Item Description'. The type of this field is 'Lookup \[Text Block\] (multi-valued)'.
The lookup table is 'TextBlock'. It's a blob table ( isBlobTable() returns true ). It has a field called 'Text' and some other fields. This field is multi-lingual. I tried to use RetrieveBlobCommand and set RegionalLayer.ALL but it throws RuntimeException when it executes.
If anyone who can solve this problem, I can give him 6 or 10 points reward.

I have had such an issue with Java API 2 and managed to solve it. So please tell me the version you are using.

Hello Tobias,
I am using Java API 2 that comes with MDM 5.5 SP5 (Build 5.5.42.65).
One more thing: I tried to use RetrieveRecordByIdCommand and RetrieveBlobCommand, but both of them return a MultiregionValue. This string has only value for DE language (the language I specified when I log in to repository)
Best regards,
Luan
