CDP and CBF

Hello,

can CDP (charactrisitic based planning) and CBF (characteristic based forecasting) be used in the same system ?

Hi There,

CBF and CDP are done in the same system.

CBF is characteristics based forecasting and it is related to forecasting in APO Demand Planning which is APO system if the client is having variant characteristics.

CDP is Characteristics dependent planning and it is used in PPDS for Mill solution for block planning and capacity planning which is mainly used for production on APO system.

Hi Ram,

About your question, i think that you have to use variant configuration to use CBF,

But that depent which kind of industries where are talking about,

CDP: Mill industries

VC: Ingeniering and automotive industries
