Import into Consolidation system failed

Hello,

We are on NW04s and tryign to import ESS component and other standard components like SAP_JEE,SAP_BUILDT into the Consolidation system and import fails in between with the CBS Log as:

What can be dome to fix the OutOfMemory Error...?

Hi Shikhil,

Please do the follwoing

1. Incrrease the memory size by navigating to Check the CBS settings in the Visual Administrator->Services->Component Build Service-> Tab 'Properties'

2.Refer to this thread

Hello,

Thanks for the reply....I restarted the import process and it finished successfully...now when I am trying to Assemble the component it is Failing at the Step Check Assembly with the following error:

Info:Starting Step Check-assembly at 2007-12-15 13:33:15.0055 -6:00

Info:Checks for software component sap.com,SAP_ESS are performed now:

Info:6DTR conflicts

Info:Step Check-assembly ended with result 'error' ,stopping execution at 2007-12-15 13:33:15.0133 -6:00

Hi Shikhil,

From the text which you have posted i can see 6 DTR conflicts, can u check the details log and find out all the conflicts and resolve them. Check if any of the DC is broken or Dirty . Resolve the Conflicts before u assemble them ?

Hello Pankaj,

Thanks for the reply. I checked for the Broken and Dirty DC's in our track but there aren't any ...then I found the note : 1027830 ...which may cater to our problem although it talks about ESS SP 7 and we are trying to assemble ESS SP11...

Although I do see the Broken DC's for the Old Track from which we made a copy for the new track....can that affect the Assembly for the new track...

Please help.

Hi,

Check the CBS settings in the Visual Administrator->Services->Component Build Service-> Tab 'Properties' and ensure that the value for the BUILD_TOOL_VM_ARGS is equal or greater than -Xmx768M.
