HTTP sender, difference between test tool and own application

Hello,

we are using HTTP test tool to connect to XI and send a flat file to a directory. Only a small test!

OK, using the test tool offered here in the SDN, we are successful connecting to XI. SXMB_MONI shows a good result.

But using another HTTP application we get an error back:

error code 404; resource not found

This is what we use in the HTTP application:

http://test.com:8070/sap/xi/adapter_plain?namespace=http://test.com/sandbox&interface=HTTP_TEST_OUTB...

I tried to have a look at the threats here but did not find something I could use.

Who could help?

Just out of curiosity.. is ur client no. <b>001 or 100</b>..?

U can refer to the following weblog for prgramatically connecting to XI server from a java applciaiton...

no, it is definitely 001!

As I am not a programmer I will give this idea to somebody else.

Will see where the problem is!

As we have no entries in message monitoring and SXMB_MONI I think the call is not accepted by XI or will not reach it!

have you tried using standard XI http tool?

this way you only have to input a few parameters

Hi Michal,

got this link from you already yesterday in another threat!

I tried to use it and it is nice, but here it will not help, I think.

With this tool we are already inside XI and our problem is to kick an external HTTP application so that it will send sucessfully to XI !
