Hi,
funny things come up again and again!
I am working remote on a XI system.
There is one scenario running with file adapter for receiver. receiver is a directory I have no access to.
My problem is now when testing the communication:
I can see the payload of the file in SXMB_MONI, but it is in XML.
Is there any possibility within XI to see how the file looks like that is sent to the destination?
Currently I am working with an HTTP -> file scenario.
The payload looks fine but the file generated is empty!
I want to see this file from my access to XI.
Any chance?
Best regards
Dirk

Hi,
you can create a 2. scenarion with file adapter to get this file in XI.
So you can see the payload in Monitoring.
But i think Michal's Idea is the better one

Hi Dirk,
sure you can,
http://server:port/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp
then choose your message -> Details -> display message bytes
and you can see what's being sent to your file adapter

Hi Michal,
whenever I place a threat, I´ll get some new things back from you.
That´s great!
But I am not sure if my question was clear enough.
I follewed your link and had a look at the message details.
What I see is the XML content too:
--SAP_03835d31-2a72-11da-b62e-00306ef4f6bd_END
Content-ID:
SAP_03835d31-2a72-11da-b62e-00306ef4f6bd_END
This is before converting the XML into the destination file.
If my destination file is empty, this content here was not transferred.
So I would like to see the result of the next step:
That what is sent to the destination!
Best regards
Dirk
Hi,
>>>That´s great!
that's good
no your message reaches the file adapter
so there's no way to see it's content
(apart from an adapter module)
try checking your content conversion
maybe you have something wrong over there?
if you're not sure take a look at file adapter related
weblogs they show a lot of examples

Sudhir deserved it
I'm becomming a leading consultant in
one of our biggest XI implementaitons
so I cannot spend so much time on SDN
as I'd like to...
but I'll try in my free time:)
