Quality Data of Initial Inventory

Hi,

How to have quality data for materials at the time of initial stock upload?

Intial inventory stock will be uploaded into SAP by Goods Movement Type: 561. But as there will be no inspection lot created against this stock movement (as not GR from production) how to generate Quality Certificate

Acticvate QM for mvt 561 under SPRO-QM-Q INSPECTION-INSPECTION FO GOODS MOVEMENT.i.e;if you desire to have insoection for thi movement and make the relevant settigns in material master depending upon the lot origin.

If you want the stock to goto quality directly you n use 563 also.Please come back if you have more questions

In Std SAP the 561 is not having the setting for quality inspection. HEnce you have 2 wys of doing it.

1. If QM is active in your client then

activate " QM active" for 561 in OMJJ and

activate QM view in material master and

maintain inspction type 05.

Then perform mb1c with 561, system will create Quality lot...
