characterstic value assignment

hi sap experts,

can any body tell me how to define characteristic value assignments for materials. for ex. for material 'A' i want to add the details like color, length, shape etc

HI,

Use Tcode CT01 to create a charactristic and also to make value assignments.

tcode CT04 is used to create charateristics.
