Scenario related to credit management
This is my configuration.
1-In vov8
Check credit limit d
Credit group-z1
2-In vov7
In item category there is
Credit active check
3-in FD33
Customer with credit control area is maintain
Credit limit-5000
Risk category-015
Customer group-50
4-credit control area is assigned to
Company code
5-in OVA8(define automatic credit control)
It is maintain with combination of credit control area,
Risk category and credit group(zzaa/015/z1)
 update group is 000012
 item check (it is checked)
 static(it is checked) reaction is C
 open item (it is checked)
 open delivery(it is checked)
My question is .
1-if i create only 5 sales order and then i check
credit exposure in fd33 there will be updated credit exposure or
not.i have created 5 slaes order and now i check the exposure
there is no update in exposure.as per my configuration it should
include open order.after that i have created delivery for 2 sales order
and billed for 2 delivery now its updating exposure.
2-after that i have changed the credit limit of customer.and created
sales order when i put material in sales order it should throw warning
bcause you can check my configuration.it should check credit limit
at item level and should through warning message but its not comming.
my clients requirment is as below:
all open orders and deliveries should be included in credit limit check. This inclusion should happen in time when orders or deliveries are created.
client wants during order creation system should show warning message when
the user is entering material in the sales order when credit limit is exceed and credit exposure should be update when sales order is saved

Whenever there is an element of time with regard to credit management, it is advisable to go for dynamic credit check, which offers the flexibility of using horizon time functionality.

your settings are right . But initially when no credit exposure in a new system the warning message willnot pop up because of there is no data related to Deliveries, pening payments for invoices. Once the data is uploaded the system will read all open orders , opedeliveries, open billing documents. More over u mentioned of Automatic credit check and using update group 00012 which is in dynamic credit check.
The IMG guide asks to implement initially Simple cr. chk and then go for auto/dyna. Your problem could be related to this.
Depending on your credit management needs, you can specify your own automatic credit checks based on a variety of criteria. You can also specify at which critical points in the sales and distribution cycle (for example, order entry, delivery, goods issue) the system carries out these checks.
