Hi All,

What would happen to catalogue item if the goods/material/service changes or simply if vendor discontinues a product and hence change the sequence of the items in catalogues?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi Saurabh,

If vendor discontinues a prod - it would be reflected in the daily runs of SAP-MDM; There is also an added functionality of alternative product which can be encorporated in SAP MDM so if the product is not available similar or nearest reference product will be available for display in the catalog.

The product sequence in the catalog will not be affected so long as the catalog is published out of the SAP MDM catalog unlike the catalog function available thru SAP SRM.
