Which client copy profile to use for client copy?

Hi everone,

I have some queries:

In my development system, I have 4 clients.Now my functional team has done configurations in 100 which is Golden master client.Now i have to copy this client to 120 which is development client so that ABAP team can start working on that.Which is the best client copy profile I should use in doing this client copy.

Right now 120 is blank client,work has never been performed on it.

Please help!!!!

That means I should use SAP

_APPL profile.

What Markus means is, u said functional team has done customizations, they are client dependent, whereas ABAP programs are client independent.

SAP_APPL gives the customization and application data without userdata.

If you would like to use existing users of the client 100, u can use profile SAP_ALL which gives user, customization and Appl. data.

ABAP is cross client - means, work, that is done in 120 is immediately also active in 100.

Use customizing and/or user and customizing, dependent on what you need.
