transporting standard text along with the form

Hi Abapers,

Thanx in advance and will award for the usefull ones.

I have changed one standard text and saved in so10. i have made changes to form as well and generated transport request number for it but not for standard text. how can i generate request number for standard text.

Please help me.

Create a standard text ,It will not ask for the Request No while saving.

Use RSTXTRAN and transport the standard text.

and the form will be normally transported.

Hi,

The problem is that first you need to save the form with the transport request and then only you have to attach the standard text to the task through RSTXTRAN program.

Otherwise when you try to attach a standard text to an unclassified task you will get the error as you had mentioned.

Hi ,

Go to SE01 or SE09, Select the create ICON, to create a new transport request.

select Workbench request in the options.

Now a new TR is created ,

now select this TR, click on Request/Task in Menu option and select change transport request type.

here you select Correction option.

now you have created a new work bench request of typ[e Correction.

now go to RSTXTRAN and give this TR number and text object details etc.. as you did earlier.

upon execution this will list all the objects that will be assigned to this TR.

select all the objects and click on TRANSFER pushbutton on toll bar. it will popup a message select YES.

now check your TR it will contain all the objects you need to transport.

I used that but it is giving an error saying Changes to objects are only allowed in correction/repair.

Please suggest me
