Idoc to File

Hi Friends,

I was asked a question like this in an interview.

While performing the Idoc to File scenario, if I am sending 10 Idocs to the File Receiver, I want the 10 XML files into the receiever folder with the unique filenames, based on the each Idoc number of the Idocs we send. How can we do this?

Hi Kumar,

Using variable substitution, you can decide your filename at runtime. It is possible to include you Idoc number in the filename using variable substitution. See the following blogs regarding variable substitution:
