HI,

We are using NWDI and we did some code customizations to ESS using NWDS and we are able to see those changes on dev machine. So we want to move those ESS code changes from DEV to QA.

Please let us know how to do that

Hi Bala,

1)Ask your developers to release the activities from NWDS.

2)You will see these activities in Consolidation tab of CMS

3)Import these activities into Consolidation .

4)Then goto Assembly Tab and Assemble components(don't do it all in once). This step will take some time.

5)Goto approval tab and approve it.

6)goto Test tab and import to test.

same with prod to.

Let me know for any questions.

If you want to move you changes to other system using NWDI, thats the only option. If you dont want use NWDi, configure you studio for your QA j2ee engine and deploy directly or give your ear file to transpor team, they will deploy into QA using SDM .

These are the only options available.

Instead of asking this question here, you should read the NWDI documentation, presentations, etc. What you are asking is all explained in these documents and you should actually know this before you start working with NWDI: You should have learned it from reading before deciding to use NWDI at all.
