Hi,
I want to print a SRM PO on the user windows default printer.
The printing must be immediately.
Only the local printer is defined in SPAD
When we launch the printing in SRM, a new spool is created, but no printing is done.
The user settings for the spool is 'output immediately' and the smartform is launched with the option 'Print Immediately'
How can I solve this problem ?
Thanks in advance
Michel
Hi,
There is no way to find your windows local printer from server side. Only client application can find the printer.
Please try this 3 workaround.
1. Manually print PDF by user. You can generate PDF as print preview.
2. Open SAPGUI in your desktop and execute the spool request.
3. Define your local printer as network printer. Add the printer as printer attribute at Purchasing Group level of PPOMA structure.

Masa

Hi!
We have the same problem. Unfortunately it is not possible. When using locl a script is suppose to pick up the printer settings from you windows machine but this is only possible if the user for that print is the windows user. But in SRM it is a system user that "owns" the printer job (usually WF-BATCH). I recommend you to use the printer "EMAIL" which picks up the users SU01 email address and sends an email which can later be printed.
