DP Delta CVC generations

Hi Gurus,

This is new implementation and we loaded 5 years history and after go live i wanted to generate just previous month and i had created variant

My question is

1. If i say system generate Previous month CVC's then it will be 5 years + 1 month CVC's will be there and How i can maintain just 5 years CVC's?

Hi,

Use Transaction - "/SAPAPO/MC62 - Maintain Characteristic Values "

Here go to Create CVC --> specify POS name --> Generate Immedtly -->Load data from =>Infoprovider --> specify Sales History cube name. And below that you can mention the DATE 'from n To' means use data between these period for creation of CVCs.

If you need to create CVCs only on the base of last month sales history first delete all CVCs and then create with DATE of last month.

Dont think you can have CVC specific Time period initialization. The planning area initialization decided in general the time period validity of all CVCs. You can though maintain key figure specific time period initialization, but not CVC specific.
