Dear All,

I am in the process of installing saprouter,

i have done all configurations but when i execute the command

saprouter -r -S 3299 -K "p:CN=SOL, OU=0000861986, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE"

it executes fine and reading the saprouttab file, when i execute

when i see the dev_rout file it says,

main: pid = 3284, ppid = 0, port = 3299, parent port = 0 (0 = parent is not a saprouter)

reading routtab: './saprouttab'

when i try to login to solman server using the sap router string it doesn't allow me to login, in the log it displays

i again ran the command saprouter -r , then it says

      • ERROR => invalid lines in './saprouttab', see 'dev_rout' [nirout.cpp 7998]

<b>for solution manager server in which iam installing saprouter have two IP's

one is real and other is local,</b>

please tell me how do i make entries in saprouttab based this scenario.

Regards,

SM

Hi Shark,

In your routtab maintain the the entries for both local ip and also for

public ip.Maintain the settings like this

#Inbound Connection MUST use SNC

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <publicip> 3201

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <publicip> 3389

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <localip> 3389

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <localip> 3389

Permission entries to check if the connection is allowed at all

P sapserv2 localip 3201

P sapserv2 public 3201

P * sapserv2 3299

P * localip 3201

P * localip 3299

Hi Shark,

Have you registered the public ip of your system

on which you are installing the router .Raise a

message to SAP under XX-SER-NET-NEW

that you are configuring SAPROUTER.

SAP will give you a distingushed name.

You can check this name at Service market place

Support infrastructure---SAP Trust centre services.

If You have further issues please revert me back.

Hi Shark,

Have you configured the sap cryptolib if you have

configured that then that's it.Go to SM59 and then

check the connection for rfc 'SAPOSS' .

If you did not find this rfc then goto OSS1 and

maintain the logon data.It will create the rfc.

Then try to log on in transaction OSS1.If it opens a

pop-up asking where to connect like default or japan

or america. This indicates that your router has been

successfully configured. Before trying this maintain

entry in the routtab like p <your systemipfor which

you have configured oss1 > 3201

If you have any further issues revert me back.

Hi Vamshi,

I have exactly entered the ip address as per your message,

here, now i am able to login to solman using saprouter string,

but i am unble to access OSS1, i entered the public ip and hostname under saprouter at customer site.

when i click on logon it says "" Unable to connect to SAPNet message server, (Default connection will be used...) ""

I clicked on ok,

Then it gives message " internal Error ",

I check in sm59 SAPOSS rfc connection is there but it is unable to connect.

please input your suggestions,

Regards,
