Have you designed your form in SFP? Then the interface design should take care of mapping the three different context into one and then design one single PDF file which is having multiple pages. I know you might have tried this but just want to know the problem which you are facing because of this.

Thanks

Hi,

If you you checked my earlier reply I have asked why you can not design the interface

according. your interface should be designed in such a way that you should get data from these three contexts. Then design one single form which will map to these data elements. Please let me know what is the problem you are facing otherwise i amy not have understood or problem correctly.

Hi Satyabrata,

see I get your point that i should make one single interface and make one form...then it will

be easy for me to save to a single file

But..But satya. I have a problem here....according to my buisness requirment

i have to add some pages at runtime(dynamicaly) e.g. i may have to generate a pdf for PO

or may be i have to skip this. but generate other pdf.

so I have only one report that calls all the function module(which then generate pdf.) based on conditions.

Now after execution a number of pdf. are generated.

but i want to save them all to one pdf file.

I have save button on each page. this will save each page indivisualy

but i want a single save button that will save all the pdfs to one file.

I hope i am clear enough...

plzzz reply....

Hi Shaleen,

I have understood your problem completely.

Please tell my how are you generating the PDF files.. It is through Web Dynpro application. If not can we use web dynpro application.

Also please let me know the procedure how you are generating and displaying the PDF file to user.

Still I will suggest one common Interface and one single PDF and dynamically show/Hide Pages as per the requirements.

After getting your reply .. I will try to provide a solution how you can proceed about this. I know this will be little tricky but it is possible.

Hi,

See i developed Interactive forms for sales order. It displays whole sales data on single pdf but when rows are more that 31 then it automatically goes to seconde page same as third forth like that.

So u have same application.

yes Gurprit ur right .... but see all the pages, in ur case

the PDF is generated by a single call of a Module.

i.e the new pdf pages are in the same file.

but i have 3 different module which generate 3 different pdfs.

but all are called in a same program.

i can save each one by clicking on the save buttom on each page

but i want to save all the 3 in one pdf file....how will i do that....

?????

Hi Gurprit,

Thanx for ur answer, but see Gurprit i have to save all the different generated PDFs to a single PDF file.

so as you said that i will have to preaper context and then I wil have to map this to a adobe form

can you please elaborate as to how can i make a context for different PDFs and then map it to one single PDF doc. to save it.

see i have 3 different function modules(auto generated by the sfp transaction). All these 3 modules are

called in a same report program. on executing this report these function modules generate 3 different pages of PDF.now i want to save these three PDFs into a single PDF file.

the problem which i see is that how can i map the context of 3 different pdf docs. to one pdf.

well i am new to this Adobe form so i might be asking for more...plz. explain

any help will be of great help !

regards

shaleen
