IR AND ID problem - java web start

Hi

I have tried all sorts of given solutions, so that I can logon to IR AND ID

but the java web start showing download error and ultimately page not opeing. But SLD is working

I feel, there is problem with the higher verison of java, which I have loaded j2sdk 1.4.2_16

I want to uninstall and reinstall with j2sdk 1.4.2_06 . only latest versions are available

I tried at sun s web site. But its not reflectin g there

where can I get this.

I tried all sorts of exercises, like cache clear, host file etc

but no use

Hi this type of problem resolved by downloading the relevant java web start from sun

Hi Venkat,

First uninstall all the versions of java, please java runtime also.

then Install j2sdk 1.4.2_13.

If u still face a problem, then open

Java Web Start --> File -> Preferences ->

Advanced (Tab) then click on Clear Folder

It should work.

Go to you Java Web Start Properties (In your Java installation folder open JavaWS).

Change your settings to use "no proxy".

That's usually the problem.
