strategy for Forecast release from DP to R/3

Dear Experts

We have released forecast from DP to R/3 and sales orders are consuming demand but STO's are not consuming demand.

what I want is the STO's also should consume the demand.

but it is not happeining.

Can we maintain the strategies in APO DP to assign the category group and category for sto consumption.

If there is any aption, can any one share the information pl.

yes. should be possible.

try to go to SPRO-> APO>SCP>DP-> Basic Settings --> Consumption --> Specify requirements strategy. You can define your own strategy and map it to the cat group that has the STOs and SO.

Thank you srinivas for your promt response.

But there is no suitable catageory group (for Sales order, dependent requirements, reservations consumption purpose) to assign to requirement strategoy.

Can we create the new catageory group
