Hi,

Prerequisites

1. Uninstalling Complete Old WebAS

2. Installing Complete WebAS

3. Deployment of NWDI Components(DTR,CBS AND CMS)

4. Configuring NWDI Components

5. Configuration SLD

Uninstalling Complete WebAS

1. Start sapinst.exe from the remote location:

<machinename>\makeresults\WebAS\630\<codeline>\<weekstone>\opt\SAPINST\NT\I386

[For example
10.53.139.33\makeresults\WebAS\630\630_SP_REL\sikw10\opt\SAPINST\NT\I386 ]

2. Choose Uninstall – Developer Workplace under Developer Workplace and choose Next.

3. Choose the installed SAP system ID. Uncheck Uninstall SAP Netweaver Developer Studio (IDE) if you don’t want to uninstall the IDE. Choose Next.

4. Select Drop whole Database and choose Next.

5. Select Remove Database Software and choose Next.

6. Click on Start button to start the uninstallation.

7. Check the progress of Uninstallation

8. If window MaxDB > Remove Database Software appears choose OK.

8. Check progress of uninstallation

9. Choose OK when Finished Successfully window appears.

Clean Up Procedure

Note: follow these steps when the uninstallation removes all instances of engine & database along with the whole database. Also IDE folder should be removed when uninstallation of IDE is finished.

Delete the following folders:

1. J2EE engine - C:\usr

2. Database Software - C:\sapdb

3. NW IDE installation - C:\Program Files\SAP\JDT

4. DTR workspace & clients - C:\Documents and Settings\c5057950\.dtr

5. Development Configurations & DCs - C:\Documents and Settings\c5057950\.dtc

6. NW IDE default workspace - C:\Documents and Settings\c5057950\Documents\SAP

7. NW Sapinst Dir – C:\Program Files\sapinst_dir

Installing Complete WebAS

1. Start sapinst.exe from the remote location:

<machinename>\makeresults\WebAS\630\<codeline>\<weekstone>\opt\SAPINST\NT\I386

[For example
10.53.139.33\makeresults\WebAS\630\630_SP_REL\sikw11\opt\SAPINST\NT\I386 ]

2. Select SAP Netweaver Developer Workplace Installation under Developer Workplace and choose Next.

3. Check Data Volume Size [MB] parameter under Installation Parameter and choose Next.

4. Change the value of Data Volume Size [MB] to 1000 (old value 400) and choose Next.

5. Choose Next when window Java System > Default Values appears.

6. Enter Java System Master Password and choose Next.

[This Java System Master Password will be used in J2EE Useradmin, J2EE Visual Admin Tool and Service Deployment Manager (SDM) also.]

7. Under MaxDB > Autoextend Feature choose Next.

[The Enable MaxDB Autoextend is checked]

8. Choose Start to start the installation.

9. If a message box for post processing steps appears choose OK to continue installation

10. Choose OK when Finished Successfully window appears.

This completes the full installation of WebAS (MaxDB + J2EE Engine + NW IDE)
