Where is the Service?

Former Member

Hello,

1. In trace file in XI-PROD server I found message about problem with communication channel "x"

2. I enter to integration builder and search (with Find button) this CC.

3. I see that this CC, is in service "Y" service.

4. When I'm looking for this service in business service list I'm not found any service with this name.

My questions is:

1. Where I can find this service("y")?

2. How I can delete this problematic communication channel("x")?

Hi Elad,

You have to do 3 things here

1) Delete the communication channel in Integration Directory---Configuration

2) Activate the changes that u have made

3) Refresh the cache

(i dont think the service is important for doing this activity)

Reward with points if helpful

I see them only when I use with Find button.

Hi Elad,

Try to find the it through the namespaces...........that would be better

and try to follow the steps that i have mentioned for deleting the Communication channel..............

Do one thing, after finding the CC by find button, just use the "<b>Where-Used List</b>"

and see where (business service\system) it is used.

Hello,

I'm looking in all namespaces and not found this CC.

When I use with "Where-Used List" the list is empty.

I think in cache or something else issue

Hi,

Run tocde <b>SXI_CACHE</b> and there double click on <b>Communication Channels</b> and see if the CC exists. After this refresh the cache (full cache refresh).

Hope it will solve your problem.

Hello,

How I can delete this CC

Hi,

If you have found the CC in SXI_CACHE then, definetly you can see the service name against the CC right?

Now again go to Integration Directory under Objects TAB and see if you can find the Service, if yes then you can delete the CC as i mentioned in my earlier replies.

Hi,

Now it seems that it is cache problem. One stupid solution, try to logout from XI and then again login. One more thing also check this in another machine with different user id. Also do this

1. In ID

<b>Environment --> Clear SLD Data Cache</b>

2. Under TAB Change List, check for any inactive objects. Activate them.

3. Again go to <b>Environment --> Cache Notifications</b>.. and check if everything is in GREEN.

Hello,

The first solution (logout-login) is not work.

The second solution:

I go to Environment --> Clear SLD Data Cache and I did it.

The change list is empty.

In Cache Notifications I'm not found any lines (no red and not green or other color).

Elad,

Do <b>CPACache Refresh</b> as full mode by this url:

http://<host>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

And use this url to monitor the CPACache

http://<host>:<port>/CPACache

After this again go to ID and check your service, if it is there.

<b><In ID i'm not found the service only the CC there></b>

I am surprised, how can you have only CC in ID not any service, because all CC's resides inside the business services/system.

Can you tell me where you have seen your CC in ID??

Restart the XI server and then check again.

hi elad,

As you mentioned that you get this problematic CC with the help of Find button.you get CC but that is not displayed in Business Service Of your Namespace.

I suggest you to search it in other namespaces manually also.

Hi Elad,

As per you ques <b><When I'm looking for this service in business service list I'm not found any service with this name></b>

Make sure if you are using the business service or business system?

For both the cases you can find it in ID as given below:

Under TAB <b>Objects </b> -

> <b>Service Without Prty</b> -

> <b>Business System/Business Service</b>

Once you find it (service/sysem) you can delete the CC from it by right clicking on CC & pressing Delete option.

Sarvesh
