Edit feature NUMKR for number ranges

Hi,

I am very to HR.

When I tried to create a hire in PA40, but I have "Edit feature NUMKR for number rangers" error.

I have the number range in IMG-> Personnel Management -> Personnel Administration -> Maintain number range intervals for personnel numbers.

Any experts can guide me?

Assign a number range in feature <b>NUMKR</b>

Personnel Administration>Basic Settings>Maintain number range intervals for personnel numbers

Personnel Administration>Basic Settings>Determine defaults for number ranges

I go to Tcode PE03 and see Process Feature NUMKR: decision tree.

When I Goto -> Structure, I can see MOLGA Country Grouping, but where can I find the 40 India? I still cannot follow the rest.

So sorry. I need more help.

John click the cursor on NUMKR and select the create button, there you can find the a list displays return value, field for decision opretion and etc, select the field for decision and press enter there u can find list of selection option as per the earlier mail and select the country. Do the same for ur req.

In Edit feature NUMKR: Structure, the followings are selected:

BUKRS Company Code

WERKS Personnel Area

PERSG Employee Group

PERSK Employee Subgroup

MOLGA Country Grouping

How do I assign 01 to them? How and where to see the NUMKR config?

When I go to Process Feature NUMKR: decision tree, I cannot activate as the message say "No change was made, saving is not necessary".

Goto PE03 T Code and select NUMKR. Then goto change mode

<b>NUMKR Infotype 0000 (Actions)</b>

<b>MOLGA Country Grouping</b>

<b> 40 India</b>

<b> BUKRS Company Code</b> (this is selected from Field for decision operation. u can select any one from the list)

<b>4455 SC Inc.</b> (Let us say a Company Code)

<b>05</b> (assigned from return Value, u can set 01 r 02 based on the Field for decision operation)

<b>otherwise</b>

leave blank in the return vlaue

Atlast activate the feature

Using PA04, I have the followings:

01 00000001 90000000 0 (no check)

02 90000001 99999999 0 (no check)

Using PE03, I have the followings:

NUMKR Infotype 0000 (Actions) Status: (Active)

But I still have the same error.

In NUMKR u can make default values for

BUKRS Company Code

WERKS Personnel Area

PERSG Employee Group

PERSK Employee Subgroup

MOLGA Country Grouping

In-line to this assign ur return value 01 or 02 according to your requriements. In "Otherwise" node set as blank. If the problem exists revert back with ur NUMKR config.

check your number ranger intervels in PA04, whether internal or external from the check box and assign the number ranger number in Feature NUMKR. Make sure the default values are correct.

when ever u want to hire a person by pa40 u have to assign a number to that position so, in order to do that u have assign number in numkrs feature so did u assigned the number
