We got monthly and weekly views. We run the State fcst in monthly buckets, the user inputs Promotion adj in weekly view. (They want to capture any Promo adj in specific week). We got a default macro in weekly view, which calculates and updates Total Fcst KF ( Stat Fcst + Promo Adj). The problem is Total Fcst is getting calculated correctly in weekly view due to default macro, If we check the data in monthly view the Promo Adj getting aggregated correctly but not Total Fcst KF. We disagg all the 3 KF based on the Prop Factors and Time based disagg is set to proportional for 3 KF. We generate the prop factors in monthly buckets.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Jeff
I wrongly mentioned that promotion Adj getting aggregated correctly, both the KF not getting aggregated correctly.
thx

hope you hve taaken into account the way week to month aggregation works
particularly during the month-week overlap
wso if a week falls over into two months then the
Remember data in the planning area is stored in Storage buckets which are not normally visible in planning book. You can use the Time bucket profile 9ASTORAGE to get this in a data view (from the interactive planning book as a temporary view)
also check if there is any preexisting values in the monthly books that are not letting the aggregation happen properly
(normally the aggregation is correct according to the logic its been designed with... it would be a question of interpreting it correctly or changing your logic to work the way you want it)
Thx Harish, you are right. I could able to resolve the problem.
thx
