Connecting EP5 SP5 from Netweaver Developer Studio

Hi,

I have done with Eclipse 2.1 and Tomcat 3.3 to develop the .par files to be deployed in EP5 server. Now I am using NetWeaver Developer studio for development. How can I deploy .par files into EP5 server.

Hi Gangaraju,

To deploy your project:

1) In the Enterprise Portal perspective of your NWDS, right click on your portal project -> Export -> Par file -> your project name -> Your par file (select Deploy par check box) -> select your server (if your server is already not added, click on the tab 'configure server settings' and configure your server)->Finish.

2) Right clicking on your project & selecting 'Quick PAR upload' also deploys your project with the saved preferences.

3) If you have the par file, you can deploy it directly from within the portal.System administration ->support -> support desk -> portal runtime -> administration console-> Archive uploader.
