Hello all,
As trainee this is my first project so i need a lot of information ;). I need to convince the business if they should use Integrated Planning or Web Dynpro.
The application:
1) Data Entry from local departments on a web based application- Enter / Edit / Delete data i.e. customer and product entry.
2) Monthly customer and product data pushed into BW
3) Internal control of entry (done by other user)
4) Save the data in BW cube or datastore????? what should it be????
5) Retrieve the data from BW and show it as a report
Are BI Integrated Planning and Web dynpro right tools for this kind of application? If yes, which tool will be the best fit for this kind of requirement?
Why is it the best fit?
When should i use the other application???
Many thanks,
Ruud Slenders
In your case integrated planning might be a better fit as you don't have to build the application from scratch

Hi,
Can I assume though that Web Dynpro could be used to create the basic web design with embeded calls to the Integrated Planning functions instead of using the Web Application Designer (WAD) to write the web interface?
Web Dynpro seems to be a better technology to base the Integrated Planning functions on.
Regards,
Noel.
