Hi experts,
I have nt backup file ( C and Systemstate ) which was taken three months before.
now i need the "profile" folder in USR directory in that backup file. when i am trying to read that backup file, its showing "backup file was corrupted". i am facing this situation with two nt backup files.
Please suggest me which precautions should take by basis guys while taking the nt backups.
I want to keep the nt backup files ( C and Systemstate ) for minimum of 6 months safely.
Is there is any default expiry date for nt backups?
Regards,
Gayathry.
my be you can try to run a filesystemcheck on the device the backup file is located on.

check the option verify during backup creation.

no, there is no default expiry date. Expiry date would not cause backup file corruptions...
to ensure that you have working backups: frequently try test restores to different devices.

Peter
