E-mail notification when PO is Released

Dear All,

We are using SRM 5.0 extended classic scenario, When a PO is completly approved and released automatically a mail is triggering from workflow system to all the approvers and the creator.

I want to change the text of that mail.

Can anyone please tell how to change the script of that mail and from where it is triggering

Hi Chandra,

spro -> sap web as -> apl serv -> basis services ->

generic bus tools -> alert management -> Define Alert Categories

-> SRM Alerts

Select the Alert Category , for PO's = BUS2201 and define

the text you want there.

If you select for example <objid> <event> for short text, you

will get then the PO number plus the text of the event was

triggered before.

The event text is defined in

SPRO: SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross Application Basic Settings

-> Event and Event Schema for Alert Management.

Thanks for the reply. We are not getting the same test that is maintained in step u have mentioned below.
