Hi sap gurus

Plz help!

In SD, when a sales order is created, the total available stock for a particular material is the total available stock in sloc T100. How do we get the total available stock in a particular plant to include sloc T400 as well, i.e. how do we define which slocs get included in the calculation for the cumulative ATP stock (tcode CO09)?

The availability check can be carried out at plant, or at storage location level. At which level the check is actually carried out depends on the data maintained in the material component and the checking scope: If a storage location is specified in the reservation, the check is carried out at storage location level, unless the checking scope specifies that the check should always be carried out at plant level.

If a check is carried out at storage location level and the components are available, the system automatically carries out an additional check at plant level. For performance reasons SAP recommends that you only carry out this type of check where required.

If, during an availability check, a material requirement exists with reference to a sales order / project, the check is carried out in the individual planning section of the sales order / project.

Hi Pankaj,

availability is check at the plant level not at the storage location level

i.e. total stock at all the storage locations in that particular plant
