all urls giving page not found message , j2sdk reintalled - help

Hi

Once it was loaded, SLD is functioning. But IR AND iD not functioning.

while doing rectification as suggested, I have uninstalled j2SdK,JRE, WEB START thro add/remove programs and again reinstalled into same foloder (which were recently downloaded from sun.com) .Moreover IT WAS DONE AFTER STOPPING THE SERVICES.

Now once I start services, all are showing green color in MMC

But now once we give url http://starxi:50000/sld or any other , its not opening, showing as page not found

1. pl let me know what will be the root cause, is it requires, reinstall of entire process or any other?

2. Also I need post installation steps screen shots, whether I have done properly or not

3. is it required to install J2SDK AND J2RE having same VERSION I.E BOTH OR ANY ONE to be installed.

Have you already checked the connection parameters for IR and ID in the exchange profile ?

Are you working in the same network where the PI is located. Maybe you have to recheck your firewall ports.

But you can also run the template installer instead of configuring the PI by hand.

I am working on the same machine

logging into SERVER AND CLICKED ON CONFIGURATON IN EASY ACCES SCREEN. SHOWING AS sld address not found

integration builder address not found

I have entered the details in sld table

but no progress////

Hi asatya,

your problem seem with java engine

use T-code SMICM>ADMINISTRATOR>JAVA RESTART>SOFT

You can use hard restart al well.

is this given was tcode or navigation path

if navigation path, is it opening of folders ?

t-code is SMICM

then go to administration where go to java restart and choose soft.

just do it once i think it will solve your problem

also are you working with some firewall?

The solution u provided is excellent and it solved the problem to the extent of xld. But for IR AND ID again different i.e original problem

WHEN we go REP, for repository, index page opening and then once we click on either design or configuration

its happening in the following manner

a. starting java web start, and loading........................

b. finally showing unable to launch integration builder

c. Failed to load requested resource (http://null/rep/start/lib/aii_ibrep.jar

once we click on details showing as

vendor : sap ag

category: download error

unable to load resource :(http://null/rep/start/lib/aii_ibrep.jar ....................

Hi,

- From first page goto admistration and see what host name is mentioned for Rep and directory.

- Change your host file also (I think you already did)

- Java version is also a problem so check which version you are having (1.5 has issues so better you go for 1.4.2.x) you can check java version by typing Java -version on command prompt.

the version is 1.4.2.16 and I have removed the tick on updates in java plug in and cleared the cashe also, put the proxy as NONE and in the hosts file written properly

again in the admin page, there are three heading headings as CURRENT STATUS(under . But same problem

ALL ARE showing AS SHOW--->

Hi,

If you are using Windows you can change the file:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

and you write:

starxi IP

you should write the IP of starxi, probably your DNS dont knows resolve the starsxi's address
