free item shopping from catalogue....product with zero price

Hi,

We are using SRM 4.0 with extended classic scenario & on support pack SAPKIBKS07.

we wanted to change price for zero price item from catalogue into shopping cart so we implemented note 693175. Now in catalogue, Contract field is blank for this item but there is a single contract available w.r.t product category in SRM.

Now when we shop this zero price item from catalogue, we can't modify it's price after the transfer to the shopping cart.

This is happening because system automatically determines this single contract available at product category level & assign it in the source of supply tab in shopping cart.

This phenomena is happening when there is only one valid contract available.if there is more then one contract or no contract available at product category level, then system unable to find any proper source of supply & then we could change zero price item in Shopping cart.

According to me, this is a strange behaviour. System should never prapose any source of supply if contract filed is blank in the catalog.

any help is appreacied here..

Perhapsyou have to maintain field price_changeable in BADi-InterfaceIF_EX_BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER in methode ENRICH_ITEM_DATA. This will make sure you can edit the price

Note is allowing us to modify price once data comes from catalogue to SC for zero price item but the problem is if SRM system finds any unique source of supply ( contract in this case) then it assign it automatically in source of supply tab after the transfer & then system doen't allow us to modify price.

if there are no unique source of supply or more then one contract available for product category then everything works fine..we can modify price in SC.

This looks a very strange behaviour..
