Message creation in test cases

Hello,

1. I want to create Message when you work with a test case. The problem is, that I can't create any Messages and there is no error message. Do I have to customize the system first, so that the messages are created? Is here a connection to the service desc?

2. Are there Workflows you can use for organising testmanagement between Testers and Developers?

Dear lars,

you have to configure service desk for this.

The advantage of using service with testing is you can send mail also to the person involved during testing or processing secondly you will have a status profile which shows what is happening with error message a tester has created and whoe is working upon it.

the workflow is configured using the action profile concept of service desk.

In reply to part two.

You have to create your own workflows, you may find some high level material in teh Marketplace but working on in the test organizer and workbench our company has created it's own test workflow process that is doing just fine.

Yes, the "Message" functionality uses the Service Desk. You will have to configure the Service Desk in order to get this to work.
