Device unknown in system

Hi,

Our MI server has been hosted by our hosting partner in some years now. But these days we are switching to a new hosting partner.

Our new hosting partner has copied an image of our MI server and installed it on a new server. I can log in to webconsole and in the administration window I can see all devices that was copied from the old server. However, when I try to sync with an "old" device to this new server I only get an "Device unknown in system" error.

I know that a device is assigned a deviceid the first time it sync to the MI server, but what happens in this case when the server image is copied to a new server?

Hi Øyvind ,

Can you please check the client set on the settigns of the device.

It could happen when MI client is pointing to some other middleware client and MI client has different client in settings.
