Steps to Create R/3 Source system in BW

I need to create a source system for extracting data from R/3

Please let me know the steps for the same. Any document for the same would be appreciable

The BW Client is 100

Logical client is 100

Hi

Navigate to Source System tree

Here you need to create new destination by entering Target Computer, System Id, System Number, Back ground user & password.

In the RFC Destination screen, enter Target Host, System Number, Port Number,

If you want to make "Trusted" system,check thet check that check box.

This is the way to create to source system in BI7.0

Don't forget to test the connection.
