Creating outbound delivery for no availability check

Former Member

The stock for a material is zero (in T-code MMBE). There is no availability check for this material.

I could successfully create a sales order for this material.

But when I try creating a outbound delivery for this material it doesnt allow me to do. What could be the problem.

I checked the delivery item category, schedule line. They also have no availabilty check.

What are the settings I need to check so that I can create a outbound delivery successfully,

hello all,

Ideally its not possible to create a delivery for a sales order with no material available. Even though the material does have no availability check.

But the ironic thing is that I can create a delivery with the same settings in my sand box. But cant figure what the problem might be in my Quality server.

According to my requirement I must be able to create a delivery with no stock available.

Dear Kumar

Have you tried with the option what I said above??

Thanks

The option using TAX doesnt exist. Since I cant change the item category for my one requirement.

Dear Kumar

In normal circumstances, you wont be able to do PGI unless stock is available. However, still if you want to do it, you can change manually the item category to TAX in sale order, so that it will allow you to do PGI and invoice.

Thanks

Hi,

You need to fill up the stock thru MB1C, MvT:561 in order to create delivery even though AvC is switched off. Since in order to deliver the Material, you must have stock to deliver it.

hi,

delivery cant happen without stock of the material under standard conditions. if avaiilability check is not there for that material the system confirms the req delivery date of the customer and when doing delivery for the schedule line system checks for the stock and obviously throws an error. this is a very normal situation.

post stock for the material and delivery willl be processed.

Dear Mr Reddy,

In the master data of the material, in the Sales Organisation 1 data, as part of the screen group Quantity stipulations, could you kindly verify the existence of a 'minimum delivery quantity'.

Technically speaking kindly verify field LFMNG in the transparent table MVKE.

K Gopidas.
