dbms setting problem in mdm console

hi

i have just installed mdm 5.5 and database also.

i have successfully mounted mdm server , but when i am trying to set the database which i installed , its giving error message as can not connect to database , even as i am providing correct user name and password of the database.

did any body face this problem please provide the methos how they solved it..

i have tried oracle , sapdb and mssql databases , but none worked

please help

Hi Akhil,

Did you started Services in Windows for MDM Server and DBMS ?

I guess you installed Oracle right ?

Can u tell me that which database ur using now.

If you r using Oracle Just go to this link and check page no's 29, 30 , 31
