Transports in SAPScript

hi

In my Dev box, when a modification is done on a SAPScript(SE71) and saved, transports are not generated, my devlopment guys tell me that the system should create a Transport everytime a modification is done in SAP Script.

Does SAPScript generate a transport everytime a modification is done.

If Yes, what settings do i have to do so that the transports are generated.

In SCC4 the client has the option : Changes without Automatic Recording

Hi Jonu,

If you are creating these scripts in the master development client, then your settings in SCC4 should be set to "Automatic recording of changes." This will generate the transport request pop-ups when you save the scripts.

Changes without Automatic Recording ( i thought this option should prompt for transport requests)

Jonu,

It is the opposite. 'Changes without Automatic Recording' sets the client so it does not prompt for transport requests. Note that you can still manually create requests and add objects (such as sapscript) to the request.
